Sorry to post this as a new post - I cannot find the thread on this topic for

some reason, but I recall that there was some concern on this issue.

I have been looking at a stream of research on the fact that B12 supplementation

often seems to help with a wide range of symptoms (as mentioned in Dr M's info.

eg links CFS ME amongst others. Search on the internet revealed quite a lot of

suggestions that visual problems could be associated also - I gleaned that the

usual blood test is not as helpful as a urine test for detecting B12 problems in

assimilation - further that supplementation via injections is one format but

that if oral supplementation is required it should be in sub-lingual form at

around 1000mg....not sure if this helps or not. Might be worthwhile looking at

the website bvitamins.wordpress.com - good thing about B12 seems to be that like

vit C if you don't need it you just excrete the excess!!

Hope this offers a possible route...maybe there are others, or maybe you have

already found a solutions

Oh well!...Good to hear I was onto something that might have helped, but sorry

to know that it was not the right solution for you. Hope you find out how to

deal with it. Out of interest I did a search on internet for side effects of

Levothyroxine and came across people complaining of a whole host of associated

symptoms - some of whom mentioned visual problems. It might be worth having a

look in case you can spot any links with what you are taking perhaps? Not sure

what else could be suggested, other than of course making sure you have had

appropriate opticians checks in case something else is happening.

Lots of luck with it - must be really distressing.
