Dosage levels of NatureThroid same as Armour?

Hi ,

You mentioned your kids, I have a question about my 9 yr old. I suspect he needs

thyroid hormone, but have tried the basal temp test with him as he is terrified

of having blood drawn but that's been virtually impossible.

I have him now on iodine. Any suggestions of how to ascertain whether or not he

needs the medicine?

He has witnessed my health crisis for 18 months and is a little nervous about

" having " anything and my husband rejects the idea that a 9 yr old could have

hypothyroidism.

to be clear I originally was on Armour till everything got messed up with

availability then I was switched to Naturthroid.....I didn't notice any

difference when I was switched to the Naturthroid from the Armour------
