We had the game on here, Carolyn, just because you mentioned it (we always have some type of sports on here!!!) And I was thinking of how happy you would be as the Ducks kept scoring!!

Oh boy, am I turning into an Oregon fan?

Glad your mom is home from the hospital and I hope she has a quick recovery!

For all you football fans out there;

The University of Oregon just beat Michigan 39 to 7, whoohooo! I think it is about the BEST game I have ever seen the Oregon Ducks play, and this was in the Big House there in Ann Arbor, Mich., not a home game, so there were over 100,000 Michigan fans there.

It kind of feels like a dream, they all looked so sad,I thought it was silly to be sooo sad though. We have lost so much ourselves that we don't take it that hard when we do lose, they have just been up there too long looks like.

Anyway maybe we will have a pretty good year this year, Got our money's worth as my dad always used to say.

Oh yes, got mom home also, they were going to do a blood transfusion, but then changed their mind at the last minute and gave her an iron pill instead. I got her home, went and got her a hamburger at Carl's across the street, and we watched the kick off, perfect timing huh.

Happy day, praise the Lord!

Carolyn

FYI,

Anne

-- We did it!

Dear Members,

Saturday morning at the 2008 Texas Democratic Party State Convention, the

Permanent Rules Committee voted unanimously to amend the rules of the Texas

Democratic Party and added two seats on the State Democratic Executive

Committee for Democrats with Disabilities. This means that we have

representation in the leadership of the Texas Democratic Party, and we'll be

in a position to help address the issues of the disability community in the

party.

We have two blog entries about the convention, and we'll have more later

today or tomorrow (we're very tired).
