thyroid antibodies, monitoring protocol

1. I am self-administering an iodine protocol for thyroid cancer even as the

family exerts heavy pressure to surgery/RAI.

I have called many on the list of iodine literate docs and so far none take

phone consults--do you know any who do, in order to monitor my protocol?

2. At last visit to a reproductive endocrinologist(18 mos ago, ago for a

miscarriage) I have " slightly elevated thyroid antibodies " but wasn't told what

kind or what that means. Now I have cancer.

IS the iodine protocol for thyroid cancer any different if thyroid antibodies

are also present?

3.Finally, what time line should I be looking at for a change(shrink)in the

papillary thyroid tumors? Weeks?months? What is the least and most amount of time

I should wait before worrying?:)

4.I have been on 150iodine(working up to 200)for a week, along with

complimentary supplements--ATP, Mag Oil, VitC,selenium--and

probiotics, multivite, 1 gr. dessiccated thyroid. Should I add tyrosine?

I am worried about detox symptoms without a doc--especially having just read

the tyrosine issue.

Also, will it hurt to add adrenal glandulars and liver support(milk

thistle,licorice, yellow dock)?

Lots of questions, but I am under fire here on the homefront and have to ramp it

up, but must do it properly.

I will bring info to my new naturopathic MD, who will be open to it. (She left

allopathic medicine in disgust) Any suggestions on the initial info to bring to

her about the protocols?

Thanks
