Guest guest
Iosol is a brand name, by TPCS Distributors out of California. I've found it at local, independent health food store (a small chain), but also online. (Google yielded several sources) Once shipping/ handling is added, local has been just as good and I like to help keep local businesses alive and well. It doesn't bother my stomach, but it has glycerin in it, so it doesn't ever seem to dry in topical applications! Uses ammonium iodine, rather than potassium iodide, plus iodine. 7 pound cat doesn't like it much, so have been using a really weak de-colorized product in her water and on my skin. Any skin improvement results take much longer that way, but I can put my arms back down on the chair or touch my face without fear of coating everything. I rubbed Iosol iodine on my left temporal area twice in a day and the sensations I was having went away. The great advantage to using Iosol over Lugol's is that it doesn't bother the skin and it doesn't stain. > > > > Joan > > >
