Hi

I was wondering would it be easier to just get the other half of my thyroid

removed as I can not get the doctors to understand 0.050 mg of levthyroxine is

not enough only few things are returning to normal till I begin my menstrual

cycle then I am almost back to square one .

Im getting really frustrated

Where are you located. You need to find a good doctor not rip out the other 1/2 of your thyroid because you do not have one. I regret removing my thyroid and I had cancer. I wouldn't do it again.

If what is left of your thyroids is still healthy, don't let them take that out.

With the doctors you have, it seems to me that even when you had no thyroids

left, they still would put you on Levithyroxin, which is not working for you.

Best get another doctor, but good ones are hard to find, or a Naturopath who

usually are more willing to cooperate with you, what you want and what you need.

The responsibility of your health is in your hands. Most likely Armour or

Naturethroid would be much better for you, which you also can get over the

internet, circumventing your doctor's manner of medicating.

My doctor will not give me more then 3 grains of Armour, but I know I need more,

so I am thinking of buying them on the net and increase the amount I am taking.

Only you know how you feel, your doctor does not.
