This topic needs to be moved to the Iodine OT group please. I have started it there.

Re: Re: I need SLEEP. (adrenal fatigue)

I have tried the Mind Alive and it is a lot of machine. You wear glasses that flash lights as well as the headphones. It seemed all too much for me and I really only used it a few times. I find the whole technology very fascinating and am somewhat interested in taking their seminar this August in Edmonton. However, I don't really know what I'd use it for at this point. I also had CDs - I used the Centerpointe Holosync for sleep as I had them anyway for meditation. I think they have some effect on insomnia. There is another company that produces CDs for sleep and other applications and they are less money. Monroe Institute, I think. I had them too but was not wowed with results. For a very long time I couldn't sleep much even on sleeping pills. Gradually my sleep improved as my overall health improved. I think that detoxification has helped as has adrenal support (I use Core Level Adrenal by Nutriwest) and lately the addition of progesterone cream. I sleep around 8-9 hours now and am weaning myself off sleeping pills. Hope you find a solution to your sleep woes.
