Guest guest
My blood iodine level is 49 range (52-109)_ 4 months ago it was a 54. I have used lots of iodized salt since then & my number went down instead of up. I have seen that you can take Lugol's or iodoral or bladder wreck etc. Because I take a lot of supplements I want to use the least expensive product. Do you go by your blood serum level or how you are feeling to dose with iodine products? And if my multivitamin also has iodine how could I be deficient??? I don't know if this extra info. helps but giving it as well. Cortisol total serum 24.8 (4-22) which it is elevated, it was depressed previously T4 total 5.8 (4.5-12.5) T3 total 124 (76-181) Reverse T3 19 (11-32) If I did the calcs right I think I have a Thyroid peroxidase AB<10 (<35) RT3 prob. as well thyroglobulin <20 (<20) I do iron Iv's & ferritin is ok. Was D deficent & that is better now as well. Not on enough thyroid meds. Nature-throid 64mg only.
