Guest guest
stephanie..can you give me your opinion on my 12 yr old daughters blood work.. she currently takes about 12 mg of iodine and 100 mcg of selenium ..not everyday ...i would say on the average about 4 days per week...she also takes magnesium, c, etc.. TSH...1.1 (0.3-5.1) FT3...4.0 pg/ml (2.3-4.2) FT4...1.02 ng/dl (0.73-1.95) Reverse T3....281 pg/ml (90-350) Ferritin...100 (however i am not sure if she stopped iron a full 5 days prior to testing) D....38 ( we will increase this asap) her ft3 to rt3 ratio is only 14 or so...so her rt3 is too high...i am wondering if this could be caused by the iodine... she suffers from some anxiety and sometimes with low energy...any thoughts? i am ordering her a cortisol and iron panel... Guest guest
Isnt' 100 a very ideal high quality level? I had like 50,and I know I should stay on iron, but multiple naturopaths think it's high enough at about 50! > > stephanie..can you give me your opinion on my 12 yr old daughters blood work.. > > she currently takes about 12 mg of iodine and 100 mcg of selenium ..not everyday ...i would say on the average about 4 days per week...she also takes magnesium, c, etc.. > > TSH...1.1 (0.3-5.1) > FT3...4.0 pg/ml (2.3-4.2) > FT4...1.02 ng/dl (0.73-1.95) > Reverse T3....281 pg/ml (90-350) > Ferritin...100 (however i am not sure if she stopped iron a full 5 days prior to testing) > D....38 ( we will increase this asap) > > her ft3 to rt3 ratio is only 14 or so...so her rt3 is too high...i am wondering if this could be caused by the iodine... > > she suffers from some anxiety and sometimes with low energy...any thoughts? > > i am ordering her a cortisol and iron panel... >
