I mixed up 88g Potassium Iodide, 44g Iodine prills and distilled water to made up to 1 litre with distilled water yesterday afternoon. The iodine prills were difficult to remove from the bottle as they seemed to be stuck together. I stirred the solution, covered the beaker and left it overnight. Today I noticed that the iodine prills had only partially dissolved. Does anyone know why and what to do? Thank you!
