Guest guest
Hi Vicky, Congratulations on your wonderful success. I have been wading through e-mails since I returned home and saw the one from you, then this one and I thought it might be helpful for everyone to see the answer to this question. I am so impressed with you. At 17 you have decided to take the best care of yourself. This positive attitude toward your health and fitness will be rewarded in many ways throughout your life. I have found that not only can you do it without having a completely empty stomach, but there may actually be some benefits to doing it shortly after eating. (Unless it is a huge, heavy meal) It may help speed up and improve your digestion to do exercise shortly after eating. Again, I want to say clearly that this would be a normal meal or snack, not after a big dinner. The reason I originally said with an empty stomach was to make sure you were not trying to exercise on a FULL stomach. If you have just eaten a large meal you will not only feel uncomfortable, but you may experience some acid which would be very uncomfortable. Most people don't eat a huge breakfast, so about 15 to 30 minutes after breakfast or after a snack would be fine. 15 to 30 minutes after any small meal is fine. Hey. I've been LiFeLiFTiNG for just over two weeks now and have had incredible inch-loss - 11.25 " so far! However, I was wondering, is it essential to do LiFeLiFT in the morning before breakfast (like in BoDYFLeX) to continue getting good results, or can it be done anytime throughout the day (on an empty tummy) and still get the same results as you would if you done it in the morning? I've done it everyday since I started, and only three days (including today) have I done it after breakfast. I don't actually have the video - I found out the basic breath in one of the ' files, along with some positions. However, I tend to just lay in bed and do my breathing before getting up the morning usually (unless I don't have time or just HAVE to eat!), and don't do the positions. I'd really like the video - however, I'm just 17 and can't order it myself of the site yet, Lol. And my mum and dad won't order it for me, because they just bought me Oxycise! and that wasn't exactly inexpensive. Up until two weeks ago I was using Oxycise!, but then found out on the net about BodyFlex, followed by LifeLift, and decided that LifeLift seemed to be the best one - for weight/inch loss, clearer skin, better hair, and better health in general! OK.. So if any of you could answer my question I'd really appreciate it! Thanks, Vicky xxx ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guest guest
Bonnie - I personally was not, but I know at least three people who were misdiagnosed this way -
Guest guest
I was misdiagnosed with MCL. The FISH test and one other that was ordered by the doc at MD in Houston showed that I have SLL instead. Very difficult to tell them apart, but apparently the FISH is definitive. (I can't remember what the letters stand for). Good luck. Bettie Question! Who else out there was diagnosed with mantle cell before being confirmed with sll/cll? Had my appointment today and the question of mantle cell seems to be lingering in the background. Just curious. Thanks Bonnie

Guest guest
Thanks Carolyn! You answered all my questions perfectly! I think it's a great group and it will help me to keep on track too......my first hurdle.........GETTING STARTED!! I guess I'll be posting here as soon as I do start. I've heard good things about Turbo Jams.......I'll have to see if it's on Netflix! I have this cheapy Yoga/Pilates DVD I got from Ross for like $5 that I sort of tried once, so for now I'll have to use that one! Guest guest
That doctor was not talking about spinal stenosis. Get yourself an appointment with a neurosurgeon and have surgery. That is the only thing that will fix your back. In the meantime tell your doctor you need a prescription for gabapentin or Lyrica. You are right, the Darvocet will do nothing for the kind of pain you are having. Don't be afraid of the surgery, it is a painful surgery, but just look at all the pain you are in now--the surgery is worth it. You don't have to live that way--in constant never ending pain. Good luck to you and let us know how you are doing.Beth in OKOn May 11, 2010, at 6:02 PM, Ann wrote: Hello, Did any of you see GMA this morning? Guest guest
Hi AnnI didn't see the program, I don't watch any of the morning shows. I did check the GMA website and read the transcript from the broadcast.I didn't see anything in the transcript that said don't get spine surgery or you should never get spine surgery at all. What I did see is that spine surgery should be the last resort and any good spine surgeon would tell you the same thing. They would tell you that any kind of spine surgery is the last resort when all conservative measures have failed and you are still crippled in pain and can not live with the pain any more.Even then, the surgery should be done only if the doctor can be absolutely sure where the pain is coming from.Spine surgery can be a wonderful thing when done for the appropriate reasons, and the correct surgery is being done for the specific cause of the back pain. Most spine surgeries are quite successful and I can vouch for that, having had 2 of them and living a life that I want to have.If your doctor is doing nothing but prescribing darvocet for pain, you need to find a new doctor ASAP. Especially since the FDA may take it off the market as it really isn't any mor effective than OTC tylenol.I suggest you seek out the opinion of an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines. When was the last time you had an MRI done? What type of doctor are you seeing now that is prescribing your pain med?Have you done at least 6 months of physical therapy to learn exercises to strengthen your core muscles and move correctly?Have you tried any epidural injections to relieve your pain. Here is the link to the transcript of the GMA segment on back pain that you are talking about.http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/OnCall/fix-dr-richard-besser-finds-back-pain-relief/story?id=10609394 & page=2Fran--- On Tue, 5/11/10, Ann <nachobaby2@...> wrote:From: Ann <nachobaby2@...>Subject: Question!Spinal Stenosis Treatment Date: Tuesday, May 11, 2010, 7:02 PM Hello, Did any of you see GMA this morning?
