Guest guest
I wish she would listen but she won't take info from my mom either. My mom had thyroid nodules and used the iodine protocol and that has made them diminish. She never did the FNA or nuc med scan or I fear she would have had a positive result as well but by this time she was already working with Dr. B's associate and they are more cautious on testing. Iodine is amazing. It has changed my mom's thermography from TH4 to TH1 in 6 mos time. Guest guest
Forgot to add my aunt already has osteoarthritis. She is allopathic all the way and her doctors always know best. My grandparents were the same way. My grandpa died of bladder cancer after suffering with "treatments". My grandmother was clearly hypothyroid and adrenal fatigued. I will be there to pick up the pieces if asked. Steph Re: Iodine and new diagnosis of cancer> > > > Dear Ha,> > >Thanks for your advice, I'll ask my doctor about the timeframe. Guest guest
There is something kinda sinister about gyn's needs to rule uteruses. I can remember my doc telling me I had suffered enough, it was time to take it out. My attitude was more like, I will decide when I've suffered enough thank you very much.LinnOn Sep 9, 2010, at 8:33 AM, Wandering Soul wrote: > It's all a big racket and they make so much money off of it all. < Similar to the hysterectomy mill where they use fear tactics and oftentimes out-and-out fraud to get women into the OR! Guest guest
This is what drives me nuts. Many people don't take control. It is still your body and your body parts. Doctors have no right to force you to remove them. Many will fire you if you do - so be it. Move on and find someone who will support you. Guest guest
Yep! We had to move on from 2 docs that we had been seeing for over 20 years, but have found other docs who are wonderful and my health and my daughter's is so much better now, plus there's no negative friction to deal with. That negativeness is very unhealthy.LinnOn Sep 9, 2010, at 10:26 AM, ladybugsandbees wrote: This is what drives me nuts. Many people don't take control. It is still your body and your body parts. Guest guest
At the beginning of my journey my pediatrician fired "us" because I refused to continue vaxinating my children. It turns out that my children may have an autoimmune disease and he kept telling me that children don't have issues like I described. Umm who lives with the kids? Guess what they did have thyroid issues. Glad he fired us as it forced me to change my way of thinking. Steph Re: Iodine and new diagnosis of cancer Better yet, FIRE them first. Every time I hear about a Dr. 'firing' a pt., it just kills me! We are paying them, not the other way around. What they are doing, is refusing to treat us.If you don't like your mechanic, or plumber YOU fire THEM.If they decide not to work with you, they are refusing your business, as in "We reserve the right to refuse your business." Its the Dr.'s right, as well. But for them to characterise it as them fire us just floors me!Jim Reply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post | Start a New Topic Messages in this topic (41) MARKETPLACE Hobbies & Activities Zone: Find others who share your passions! Guest guest
My daughter's pediatrician recently refused to keep treating her also, because of vaccine refusal. Turns out that I found a great D.O. who specializes in hormones, offers thermography, etc. and has an awesome bedside manner, so it turned out wonderfully for us. I feel very fortunate to have someone in place for her now, as she goes through puberty and enters adulthood, who will be handle any hormonal issues and who won't be pushing vaccines and birth control on her. Plus I now have a medical exemption for the school system. Definitely got the better end of the deal. ;-))LinnOn Sep 9, 2010, at 2:00 PM, ladybugsandbees wrote: At the beginning of my journey my pediatrician fired "us" because I refused to continue vaxinating my children. Guest guest
I recently had a similar thing happen with our pediatrician. Our son was having almost constant headaches and always tired and is overweight. I specifically asked for thyroid testing and the doctor told me that he was overweight and needed to get more exercise, he did not have a thyroid problem. He sent us home with a sheet on childhood obesity and instructions to be more active. I took him to see my thyroid doc the next week (Dr. Wycoff in East Lansing) and he diagnosed food sensitivities to a whole bunch of stuff we eat a lot of (corn, soy, almonds, egg yolks, the list goes on and on) and surprise-surprise, he had elevated thyroid antibodies. Now I've got him on 25 of Iodoral and all the supplements and hopefully keep the antibodies lower. Going gluten free helped the headaches a lot. ladybugsandbees wrote: > > At the beginning of my journey my pediatrician fired " us " because I > refused to continue vaxinating my children.
