,That could actually be a good sign. I seem to remember that had some pains that reminded me of growing pains on my breasts. The fibrocystic lumps went away for me at about month 3-4. I also took a b vitamin and all the listed nutrients and 50 mg of iodoral. I did some cilantro detoxification recipes for mercury as had so many headaches that thought mercury was stirred up and was on ALA anyway and chlorella for other reasons anyways. My dr wanted me to do what I could as my body was dumping mercury anyways. Pam

I am working on increasing my Lugol's dose, I am at about 28-30mg now. I am noticing lately that my right breast is tender with some intermittent throbbing dull pains. I have had problems in this breast with fibrocystic tissue in the past, could this be related? I was even told by a chiro who does muscle testing, that I am retaining mercury in the right breast. Seems like this could also be detox?

I am actually taking the iodine for newly diagnosed hypothyroidism, but have read that it helps with fibrocystic breasts, as well. I am just wondering, if the sensation and iodine are connected.

Several people have mentioned temporary twinges, & I have certainly had some. If you think about it, the breast can give you twinges through any sort of change -- menarche, with the monthly cycle, in pregnancy, in menopause. We know that iodine affects breast tissue. It's kind of logical.Never heard of anybody claiming that mercury was being retained in a breast before. I mean, alternative health docs are always talking about toxins being held in the body in a generalized way, but there is no way to visualize them in a particular organ. Of course, I don't know what to do with that information anyway. Wherever it is, you try to get rid of it in the same ways... I mean, there is little you can do that is specific to the breast except pain the breast with iodine.AnneOn Apr 12, 2011, at 7:46 AM, G wrote:

It certainly makes sense, it was just so significant and only in the right

breast, I thought it was interesting and wanted to make sure I didn't need to

cut back on my dose or something...although, I am bromide (acne) detoxing

something fierce so I have cut back today anyway. I increased my DMG and added

Liver Life to my liver support this morning too.

Mercury binds with tissue and organs, so it would make sense that my breast (the

one with the fibrocystic tissue no less) would hold it, since toxins are held in

fat tissue. I had trouble nursing both of my children on that side too. Ironic

how all these things are tied together and I am finding out now with this

information. It all makes sense.

I use all of the iodine supplements including Inositol which I see not everyone

uses, plus I am using many of Andy Cutlers recommended supplements for

chelation, so I am definitely loaded up on the liver support, vitamins, minerals

daily. I really think I take in my capsules than air....(sigh).
