The skin around my nails is so dry it peels and I pull it off because it's so irritating. Also, just below my nails my fingers are swollen and my hands ache occcassionally and my fingers are stiff in the mornings. Can silica be helpful? Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Since I have never seen any others except my mother and myself with hands like we have, I assume our need for silica is much greater than most folks, or we have an assimilation problem unique to us, or some such situation. So these other silica preparations work for most people. But the effects of silica are much more than skin deep. It also makes arteries, veins, and capillaries more flexible and probably more effective in all ways. This could be very important for substance exchange in the capillaries and elsewhere. Didn't mean to cause controversy, but the whole thing has been so remarkable that I decided to remark on it. :) pj

My cuticles started peeling when I started Iodoral.  I assumed it was a detox symptom.  Maybe yours is, too.~WOn Tue, Feb 9, 2010 at 12:55 PM, Vicki P <vickij56@...> wrote:

Have you seen this product? I used to suffer badly from swollen ligaments in my arm to the extent that I had lumps that could be seen through my skin. This stuff could make the pain and swelling disappear in 20 mins. Better than anti-inflammatories.

It's supposed to do all sorts of good things.
