Guest guest
Hello, Recently, someone asked the question about lipomas, whether iodine can help them. I can't thank this person enough for this simple question. My son has a fatty filum and spina bifida occulta resulting in tethered cord, so I began researching iodine and fatty filum. I found this wonderful piece of information. I know I am a bit of a pain on this forum, my perspective is different, but I am so thankful for this forum because it has changed my life considerably and my son's life. Tethered cord is a terrible, terrible syndrome. There was a day when the doctors knew something. " Lipoma and Spina Bifida -- The baby before us is four months old and has a tumor in the sacral region which raises the question of diagnosis between, especially, spina bifida and lipoma. In this connection you will recall two or three cases of spina fibida shown here the past few months, and one in particular in which we injected a solution of iodine, iodide of potassium and glycerine, with the result that the tumor diminished markedly in size. The diagnosis was not difficult to make in that instance except for one who, because of the rarity of the disease, had not seen many cases.
