Hi All,

I have gone cross eyed looking for the post that someone wrote on applying

Iodine to scars and this person had an alternative doctor do some kind of test

or analysis on blood, it was very interesting and I have been away from the list

for a while.

If it what I'm thinking, the link had photos of the process, and the role of

hairs. It was amazing. I thought I saved the post but didn't. I'm quite sure it

was made by Joan, coloredoctave, whom I have messaged offlist she's very nice.

Or you could search her posts. And she had tx for scarring by laser I think.

This link was posted at some earlier date and I was very interested

in it then, particularly in the healing/rejuvenation role of scar

tissue played by hairs. About a couple months ago I wrote about my

application of Lugol's and castor oil, not only to most parts of my

body, but to just about every orifice I have. I mentioned my

right ear, which has shown hearing loss in the last three years or

so. I believe this loss was a response to decades-long facial/neck

infections of one kind or another. This seemed likely because it

was mostly my right ear that showed loss and it has always been the

right side of my face that was most affected (e.g. tongue is swollen

on the right side). I think the infections in some way impaired

the function of the small hairs in the inner ear -- perhaps with

scar tissue. (These hairs are what respond to register sound.)

My first hearing test was about a year ago, and it was a very

simple, even primitive one, taken by a chain hearing-aid store -- so

I don't give it much credit. However, last week I had a very

sophisticated hearing exam with my HMO and the hearing in my right

ear was hugely better. Again, the first test may not be creditable,

but maybe it was. It is possible that the iodine has brought this

about. So, I continue hopeful -- and applying iodine to my ear

I find your topic intriguing. Can you go into more depth about

Lugols and Castor Oil applied to your body? Your hearing getting better

is most interesting. Hair's regrowing in ear?

What about hairs on head?

Have you ever tried it on an animal with a scar?

think I would rather use iodine instead of procaine shots to clear them.

Re: how and why I use the Lugol's and castor oil, you'll find

details and explanations if you use "clairewest" to run a search in

Messages. My reports on this are within the last two months or so.

I wish I could say more about the hair growing question, but really

this is all very new to me and mostly guesswork and experimentation

- with a good deal of hope thrown into the mixture. I have no way

of knowing whether the hairs in my inner ear are growing. Re: the

hair on my head, that does seem to be growing thicker from the

iodine protocol I've been on for 6-7 months.

Reporting on something new: Last Tuesday I tried, for the first

time, applying my Lugol's/oil combo to my scalp (I'm now using 125

mg Lugol's). It wasn't a messy procedure (as I had feared) but it

did take a lot of subsequent shampooing to get the sticky oil out of

my hair. And nothing happened -- then. On Saturday I developed,

along with a fever, a tender and painful path from under my chin (on

the left) down my neck to a slightly raised and more tender bump

(gland?) and then down to an even more painful swelling under my

breastbone. It was very hard to swallow (though I had no sore

throat problems.) I woke that night with a deep, acute pain on the

right side of my waist which might have been connected to gas, but

it's location gives rise to speculation about my gall bladder -- a

cleanse? These symptoms continued into Sunday and Sunday night

(with little sleep because of the pain) and the fever, on Monday

morning, is down somewhat but still with me.

I tried the application to the scalp to help chelate mercury (which

my brain is flooded with) and to help overcome the pervasive

infections in my face. I don't know if the symptoms I describe are

a result of the scalp application, but I think so. I don't know the

significance of the symptoms, but I'm trusting that all this is yet

another, and more significant step towards healing.

PS: I have obtained some relief from the neck swellings with a

poultice of terramin clay.

Wow that reaction sounds profound.  And I am guessing glands/lymphatic system activation from the description.  Sounds like an increase in detox helpers (ala, sea salt, etc) might be in order.  Wishing you continued progress and healing.

 

I have chronic issues on the left side of my face/head.  I have had good luck with microelectricity in taming the infections there and really getting things to calm down.  It doesn't do anything for moving mercury out of the system which it sounds like you were trying to do though.  I have a root canaled tooth upper left and get sinus and jaw issues there.  The microelectricity has helped just tremendously.  If you are interested in more info please email me off list and I will send you the links and group info.

Yes, Jaxi, I've been heavy on the salt through all this, and besides

the clay poultices I also use the castor oil "straight" (without the

Lugol's) to manage the pain and inflammation.

I do have one remaining root canal in my mouth (might be gotta

percha -- sp? -- instead of mercury filled), but the mercury's been

removed from everywhere else and I think all the infected/decaying

teeth have been pulled. I'll google to get some idea of the use of

microelectricity, but I doubt I will have the emotional or mental

resources to explore another avenue of recovery at this time. The

iodine journey has been pretty overwhelming for me in terms of time

and focus.
