Questions for using Lugol's

I have some questions that some of you with more experience might be able to

answer.

When using iodine in water and it sits for a while, is there any problem with

the type of container (plastic, nylon, aluminum, stainless, galvanized, ceramic

or glass) one might use?

What are the signs of overdosing with iodine?

What would the dose for a dog be (based on weight) versus a human dose?
