help for thyroid cancer, adrenal fatigue and low iodine

HI, I am new to this group & was referred by another thyroid cancer survivor.

I'm new to this whole game, as of last year, have had to learn a whole lot.

Have had lots of testing done and consider it a " blessing in disguise " ! I am

currently on 25 mg hydrocortisone (HC), & 3.5 gr. of natural desiccated thyroid

(NDT).

My question is how to treat low iodine level when you also have to treat adrenal

fatigue?

My latest lab results is from a 24hr urine that says my iodine level is 68%.

The doc that is treating all of my issues suggested a low dose of Iodoral but

the NDT-Adrenal group suggests that it is not good to treat for low iodine while

you have adrenal fatigue. I have symptoms of both and am anxious to treat all

that I can.

Does anyone have experience in treating both these issues and can you make

suggestions for me? I appreciate any help you have to offer!
