Guest guest
Why is it that iodine brings temps down? I have been on iodine for several years now and stopped the iodine for a week due to having palpitations and not sure what it was from. I have since figured out it was not iodine, but adrenals. I am taking an adrenal supplement (Dr. 's adrenal rebuilder)along with a combination of T4 dessicated thyroid before making the switch to only compounded thyroid. My temps had been steady (98.3) before adding back 50 mg iodine and now they are lower (97s). I'm not sure if I should continue taking the iodine or cut down on the dosage. Can anyone provide an explanation as to why iodine lowers temps or point me in a direction to read about it more? Thanks. Laurie
Guest guest
if you detox,it can stress your adrenal and then you do not have enough cortisol to get the thyroid hormones to the cell.look at your liver On Tue, Apr 5, 2011 at 3:57 PM, koonk <dalilah61@...> wrote: Why is it that iodine brings temps down? Guest guest
Are you taking enough salt? You can feel light headed if your detoxing is stressing your adrenals. MacG.
