I consume from 30 to 50 grams a day of spirulina and chlorella combined. Those

foods would tend to keep my system fairly clean. I don't expect much in the way

of detox symptoms. Am I right ?

Iodine with the companion supplements and salt loading are what push the toxins out of your cells. from IllinoisFrom: <r_long@...>iodine Sent: Fri, December 31, 2010 10:11:34 AMSubject: Less Detox ?

I am not all that familiar with spirulina and Chlorella, but I think you will be

surprised at the toxins that are likely stored up waiting to be detoxed. I know

I was -- Detox was not unbearable but certainly occurred from the beginning and

continued for the 4-5 months when I went from 12.5 mg to 100 mg or Iodine. I

did a lot of liver support which really helped and is finally making me feel

like I am turning the corner -- after about 7 months of liver support and detox.

I am not sure if it was you that mentioned yellowing of the skin, but if so you

might want to consider additional liver support. Also, I definitely did much

better with detox when I was consistent with the sea salt and when I went to 400

mcg of selenium -- I would say don't skip the selenium for sure.

And remember it is a long process with lots of improvements but definitely some

challenges along the way -- note that which is improving so you can refer to it

when you have a bad detox day or are unsure on the next step -- that really

helps.

Hi ,Spirulina and chlorella helps a lot. You might not have detox symptoms (from halides specially but it can be some heavy metals too kicked out by the iodine) if your overall diet is clean and nutritious dense as well as having a liver, spleen, gall bladder, kidneys, skin

working and clean. All antioxidants you can take (in your needed amounts) will help to detoxing without "symptoms". I experienced detox symptoms (acne, anxiety, lack of focus) at improper dose of iodine (lower), by changing the dose those symptoms fade off practically overnight. From: <r_long@...>iodine Sent: Fri, December 31, 2010 9:11:34 AMSubject: Less Detox ?

In my experience, I hope you are correct for your sake, but I doubt it.

Over the last many years I have been using one or more of the following all know

to have detox effects: Kombucha tea, Kefir, raw milk yogurt, water kefir,

spirulina, chlorella and living clay and juicing. I also keep to a relatively

clean diet most of the time and have done the master cleanse and juice fasts

several times.

I have been on the iodine protocol for about 4 months. At first, and when I

increase, I have/had intense facial pain (near where my fillings are), and I

continue to experience very hypo like fatigue. I know that this is detox,

because I was off of the supps for a few days and felt great.

Keep us posted on your experience, I find it all so fascinating.
