Guest guest
I have some questions I took a bit of a break from iodine, but will be starting again next week. I was feeling rather nasty and didn't want' that over Christmas. I've found out that I may (haven't been tested yet) have an RT3 problem as a result of blood loss from the surgery I had a couple of years back. What role will iodine play in fixing this? Do I understand correctly that RT3 is a form of T3 that shows up in tests as T3 but doesn't do anything useful in the thyroid itself? Now, what about my liver? I had a liver function test before I started LDN and it was fine. My overall cholesterol was high a year ago, but my LDL was very low, so there was no concern expressed. If the thick skin on my feet is somehow connected to liver, I've had a problem for a really long time. I do not think this is a fungal issue. I've had athlete's foot and it really does not seem the same at all. Iodine is good for candida, yes? I'm weighing out the adrenal/thyroid thing (hope to get saliva cortisol testing done in the new year) to see how to best treat. Jaye
