Hi, TSH increases when starting iodine therapy.

Reference Dr. Brownstein's Iodine book 4th Edition, pg 145

Dr. Brownstein also writes that it may stay elevated for 6 months.

Have your doctor test your FreeT4 (Ft4) and FreeT3 (FT3) levels to accurately monitor your thyroid levels.
