The Centre for Harm Reduction at the Macfarlane Burnet Centre for Medical

Research is looking to identify suitable candidates for the post of Social

Research Director for a program of research into aspects of harm reduction

approaches to the prevention of HIV infection among injecting drug users in

Indonesia. The post will be for at least two years, based in Jakarta but

working also in other sites. Candidates must be at least PhD level,

experienced in a range of research methodologies, teaching at undergraduate

level and supervision of students including PhD candidates. Fluency or

ability in Indonesian will be an advantage.
