Hi Amy,

I went from hypOactive to hypERactive with my thyroid when on Low Dose

Naltrexone. I now don't have to take it anymore. I am thrilled! There are some

who have this experience. If you want more into, search on and you

I used the protocol and prayer. My temperature started out at 96.5 and over the course of 4 months is now at 98.6. I had started taking 1 grain of armour durin that time as well and had to come off. I contribute my healing to the Lord and Iodine. The doctor told me I was going to overdose on iodine but all I knew was it was what worked for me and now I do not have to go back to him. I am on 125mg Iodine supporting supps, multi, and Vit D 5000. Thats ALL!

I am in the process of weaning off my thyroid meds. Over the past year, I have been able to reduce meds from 180 mgs down to 30 mgs daily. Testing verified hyper labs along with symptoms. It's been a long journey so far, about 5 years. LinnOn Dec 16, 2010, at 5:45 PM, Amy/728207 wrote:

Yes. I used to take 60 mg of Armour and went to being hyper

instead of hypo within in two weeks of starting iodine. I have been told this

is unusual. I am still working on other issues though, like DHEA, adrenals etc.

getting in balance. The iodine is also helping a skin problem that I used to

have, Acne cea. This group has been invaluable to me. Carol
