Guest guest
When I followed the instructions for new members, I was not sure how many times I should continue with the salt and water regemine? joy
Guest guest
My question was how many times should I continue? I took 1/2 teaspoons plus 12 oz water 6 times over the course of many hours. My headache never went away. What is the max amount of salt recommended? joy > > You take salt daily; however if you are having trouble detoxifying ( headaches , etc) the you do the Salt Loading Protocol. Its number 7 under Commonly asked Questions. It tells you how to do it there. Guest guest
After the first dose drink more that 12 oz woman. You literally want to flush your system out. I drink the water until I pee my brains out before I would take more salt.More water for me was key. I drink almost 2 quarts. Yes it is a lot of water but it should help. from IllinoisFrom: claudiajoy11 <cma11163@...>iodine Sent: Fri, March 18, 2011 11:24:29 AMSubject: Re: Salt loading My question was how many times should I continue? Guest guest
Kathleen, My question was not answered by reading #7 in the Salt Loading Protocol. I found your last post rude although I am certain you did not mean to be. I am afraid of ingesting too much salt. I was not going to continue on all day and night with the Salt Loading Protocol untill I sought advice. joy > > > > You take salt daily; however if you are having trouble detoxifying ( headaches , etc) the you do the Salt Loading Protocol. Guest guest
joy, I did not mean to sound rude, I am sorry if it sounded that way. I didn't know if you had read it as it does say there " * Note that you should not need to do this for more than 3 days. If you do then you need to reduce your dosing of iodine." If you are not getting relief from the salt loading, then it's best to reduce your dose of iodine or perhaps even pulse dose for awhile. 5 days on and 2 days off for example. Again, forgive me if I did not explain this in the right way. I meant no disrespect . I hope you feel better soon. Guest guest
Hi joy,The protocol says to do it until urinating begins, so you were probably going by the time you took it six times. Do you get headaches any other time? Maybe this was just a regular headache, not from detoxing. You might need to support your liver more, or take a day break if it was a detox headache and you didn’t get relief.
