thyroid cancer and iodine usage

Dear ,

I have posted a few times in a few places -- this is all new and I am

learning as well as confused by my learning -- I am also a parent,

tired, working, going to school and feel like I am running beyond

empty all the time. So please forgive my straight forward questions.

I have thyroid cancer. I want to keep my thyroid. One lobe is engulfed

with a mass. The other many nodes. I have been waiting for a month to

get in with a naturopath who works (apparently, I have not met him)

with thyroid cancer. He works with lugol, natural thyroid, vit d

levels, etc. It is going to be REALLY expensive and I have no health

insurance. I already have huge doctor bills and I had to go back to my

ent after reading STTM to ask for tests beyond T4 and TSH. I learned

my vit d was at 12 but the good news, is that the doc actually started

reading up on thyroid issues after seeing my test results. Originally

she said Janie was " simple " for recommending testing t3's. I am

worried that I will get the run around again at my expense. How will I

know if the naturopath is good or not? Should I just bail out and go

to someone like Dr. Brownstein, and where is he, and how much would

that cost? I really need someone with knowledge to just tell me how to

proceed as I don't know how to make the right choices.

Thank you so much,
