Guest guest
I have read, I think on Curezone.com that you can insert Iodoral vaginally for fibroids. I personally have not done this but have been on the Iodine protocol for over a year. Although I have suffered from fibroids, after a myomectomy, they have not grown back they way they were ie 11cm diameter. The Iodine Proctol feels like it has stabilised my wacky hormones so I don't have hormonal hazes which I associated with growing or dying fibroids anymore. I have not painted either but it may be one way to treat your fibroids. Yes, it is 5% Lugol's that you should use. Iodoral is the tablet form of Lugol's. Hope this helps Maybe someone else here can give you a better answer who has specifically used iodine to treat fibroids > > Dear forum, > could you share wisdom and experiences, links to painting iodine externally to reduce uterine fibroids? Guest guest
Some have done iodine douches to help with uterine fibroids. Taking it orally will also work. Studies have show that iodine can be found in the uterine lining within 30 mins of ingestion. Guest guest
I just remembered that some people made a bolus of coconut oil and iodine and inserted it vaginally. Guest guest
I'm sorry I can't answer this question directly but I've been wondering if radioactive iodine they use for an hsg (check to see if tubes are blocked) is dangerous? > > > > Dear forum, > > could you share wisdom and experiences, links to painting iodine externally to reduce uterine fibroids? Guest guest
Yes - anything radioactive is dangerous. It works by mutating the DNA of cells so they die but unfortunately it can mutate cells without them dying and then they reproduce mutated. Guest guest
Thanks Steph, I'm glad I never got that procedure done! I figure if I had blocked tubes, I'd be better off taking systemic enzymes. > > > > > > Dear forum, > > > could you share wisdom and experiences, links to painting iodine externally to reduce uterine fibroids? Guest guest
Years ago, when my tubes were checked, I was told that the iodine material was not radioactive.AnneOn Apr 13, 2010, at 8:34 AM, LinR wrote: I'm sorry I can't answer this question directly but I've been wondering if radioactive iodine they use for an hsg (check to see if tubes are blocked) is dangerous? > > > > Dear forum, > > could you share wisdom and experiences, links to painting iodine externally to reduce uterine fibroids? Guest guest
The only thing that seems to work for me regarding uterine fibroids so far, has been accupuncture combined with an herb called kuei chi fu ling ( this is the Wade Giles spelling. I think the pin yin spelling is Ghui Zhi Fu Ling). It has also helped with my thyroid. I have cut back dramatically on taking the Iodoral. I had been taking it for a little over a year, having worked my way up to 50 mgs per day and sometimes more.I shall be getting my homeopathy remedy later this week, so I am hoping that it will help to shrink my large uterine fibroids. The Chinese herabl remedy has not caused them to get any larger. In some cases, it has worked to shrink some women's uterine fibroids. From: ownphysician <ownphysician@...>Subject: using iodine ext for fibroidsiodine Date: Tuesday, April 13, 2010, 8:43 AM Dear forum, could you share wisdom and experiences, links to painting iodine externally to reduce uterine fibroids?
