Guest guest
I think Iron and other trace elements are also important to reduce the goiter. I am anemic because of my uterine fibroids. So, Iron is important. JagFrom: crystalvision11 <crystalvision11@...>Subject: Re: Fulvic Acid for Thyroid Nodulesiodine Date: Thursday, April 15, 2010, 2:33 AM Jag, Thyroid nodules are basically tumors. A nicer name for them. But the term usually loosely includes tumors, cyst, and goiters. Goiters usually being directly caused by a lack of iodine, but I'm more and more convinced that one of the causes of thyroid tumors are also caused by a lack of iodine, from what I can tell. I believe soy is one of the causes of mine, and soy is very bad for the thyroid and virtually blocks the iodine to the thyroid. Of course, there are many causes of thyroid tumors. The lack of iodine, I believe, is one of the causes of the epidemic of thyroid problems we are experiencing. That is why this group is so important. Guest guest
Right on the button Jag! I really believe that too. When your body is low on energy through perhaps anemia, it looks at other ways to get it. It eventually drags on your adrenals and thyroid and then starts to drain them and make them sick. I used to be the Jelly Bean Queen but now realise that something is going on when I start to crave sugar. (which I don't very often). > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > kelp is full of arsenic and other toxic substances, not > > > > > > > a good > > > > > > > > > > > idea > > > > > > > > > > > > > to get your iodine that way. Guest guest
I recently switched brands of Vitamin C and your post made me realize it was probably the soy in my former Vitamin C supplement that was the biggest contributing factor to my goiter growing giving me this choking feeling I now have. I used up the old Vitamin C rather than throw it out. That was a dumb move on my part! > I believe soy is one of the causes of mine, and soy is very bad for the thyroid and virtually blocks the iodine to the thyroid. Guest guest
Joanne, try getting the daily email and not go to the digest. the daily email is a good way to read the posts and the not trimming doesn’t enter into the picture much. Guest guest
Joanne, I feel your pain. I've been scrolling down past one- or two-line replies in multiple endless messages like this for several digests and yours in the only voice of concern that I've heard. So I thought I should tell you that you're not alone. For years I've been a member of various busy getting my mail in digest form for its efficiency. I've never encountered having to spend so much time scrolling through every historical post in a single thread to get to the next message in the digest. This is truly a unique group that way. For me, having a concussion with migraines, it's too much. Currently I am trying to toggle back and forth between the message index links at the top of the digest...clicking each one individually, reading the new post and then hitting the back button to go back to the message index to select the the link for the next message down...but this is proving too cumbersome too. The digest feature was supposed to help people like me. And I do respect that it is certainly the group owner's prerogative to chose how the group is to be organized. I'm just sorry that this has to be this way. From a a person with limits she is trying to learn to live with, > > This is what I go through when people don't trim their posts. Guest guest
Thank you. I appreciate it. I knew I couldn't be the only one concerned about this. Trimming is such a simple and courteous thing to do. Joannewww.joanneunleashed.comOn Apr 15, 2010, at 3:23 PM, iodine wrote:I feel your pain. Guest guest
I find it difficult too...so I toggle as well. If my internet connection is slow I just move on to something else and delete the digest altogether. Karin > > > > This is what I go through when people don't trim their posts. Now, I'm not asking you to trim this time. I'm asking you to scroll through this post, and then imagine that each daily digest has 10 such posts. > > > > Please, really, take the time to scroll down. >
