But it doesn't. We are not a thyroid group. We are an iodine group. I did not see the word iodine once in your message.

Thyroid medication is not a supporting nutrient for iodine nor is it used for detoxing. It is a medication for something that people who have thyroid problems take. Iodine is a nutrient used by the body for anti cancer, anti viral, anti microbial and more. It is not just they thyroid.

Re: Armour vs. Levoxyl - Not Iodine Related

, I would beg to differ...since iodine has everything to do with thyroid related issues and armour and levoxyl are thyroid medications..I think it has everything to do with everything iodine related. Amy-- just another perspective on this from a moderator-- we have to draw

the line somewhere because otherwise this list can't focus properly on

iodine. You may not have been on the list when we had the recent

discussion about off topic posts, but we have an average of 50 to 60 new

members a week, all of whom need the basic info about iodine and how to get

started. We simply have to narrow the topic down, and we define that as

once iodine has left the topic.

I encourage you to join the Iodine-OT list (link near the bottom of every

email from this list) and ask questions there, as there is a knowledgeable

subset of iodine members there. Just be aware that it's not a moderated

list and opinions and knowledge-base vary, so you'll need to double check

information gained there.
