Guest guest
hi, A friend of mine who plays the piano and is a very driven personality has had tingling in her arms and hands for maybe 6 months now. They have put her through the battery of tests for neurological problems but nothing there. Is this a possible symptom of hypothyroid/or hyperthyroid? Could it be adrenal fatigue and she runs on adrenaline most of the time? A lack of mineral/vitamin???? I am guessing it is from the iodine, since I did not have this before. The arrhythmias are not serious and do not require any additional treatment. I just would like to know how long this usually lasts? I am taking the celtic salt and all the companion nutrients. Since I started the iodine, I have also been able to completely wean off HC. I did lower my Armour Thyroid dose for a while because of high heart rates, but then the weight started pouring on... Guest guest
I had this, combined with numbness. It was peripheral neuropathy. It is a symptom of hashimoto's - I'm not sure if it's also a symptom of hypothyroidism. Mine it totally gone now, apart from a little bit of tingling on the soles of my feet. I think giving up gluten helped a lot because it was almost gone before I started iodine or T3. Guest guest
I have neuropathy in my legs. In fact my right leg has no feeling anymore except for the nerves that burn and shoot pain through my leg. All because I had 3 surgeries on my L5S1. It took them 3 times to get it right. I was on neurontin for 15 years for that too. I quit taking it and things feel the same so why take it.No more cutting on me. I've had enough of that crap. from IllinoisFrom: MacGilchrist <s.macgilxrist@...>iodine Sent: Tue, March 15, 2011 2:23:15 PMSubject: Re: tingling in arms Look up peripheral neuropathy. Guest guest
It is also a symptom of pinch nerves. I've been off of gluten, take no medications. My spine is degenrating and plus the anklyosis spondolytis. You can also have a blood test that check your HLS-B27 blood factor. That also causes bone problems. Even though I have great levels of calcium and vitamin D I'm still dwindling down to night. I also have several auto-immune diseases. Crohn's, celiac's, fibro, AS, RA, and God knows what else. I quit going to MD's since they are of no use nor any help anymore. All they want to do is push pills. I am a pill-free woman and want to remain that way.Diet. Fresh vegis, fruits and meats. Nothing in a box, can or processed. No eating out, which I don't miss anyway, and if I do I can have a salad. And trust me since I have eaten this way now for 3 years I feel a lot better. I even have limited quinoa and some rice grains and bean grains. My body doesn't need them. from IllinoisFrom: Cochrane <juliemc9@...>iodine Sent: Tue, March 15, 2011 3:14:51 PMSubject: Re: tingling in arms I had this, combined with numbness. Guest guest
,I just had tingling in my fingers, and my chiropractor said hand/arm tingling can be nerves being affected by the neck part of the backbone. Several weeks of treatments has relieved the pressure on the nerves. Also, too much B-12 can cause tingling in either/both hands/feet. There probably are other possibilities. Guest guest
I broke my neck at 22, had bad tingling in hands and numbness often for 3 decades. Now I don't. I use a B complex to help detox of iodine am and pm. another gift of this protocol. I think it is B1 and B2 that make the most difference for the nerves. But Bs work best together. Another factor is their pillow. If the back of your neck flattens out then causes pinched nerves. Just pulling the pillow up in a gentle curve under the neck before you sleep can help or switching to pillow that has that roll built in. I had to do PT exercises to fix that but had total numbness in both hands for 6 weeks maybe 15 years back.Pam On Tue, Mar 15, 2011 at 2:31 PM, DeNormandie <blessedark2010@...> wrote: HLA-B27 blood factor.
