Guest guest
Right. In fact, I stopped taking thyroid meds prescribed by Kaiser due to it being Synthroid ( I think) and no one listening to me to test my adrenals. According to Dr. Rind, who wrote a thyroid book, you should address your adrenals before you thyroid because thyroid meds stress out your adrenals even more then you go into adrenal fatigue.Docs at Kaiser were angry with me when I tried to talk to them about it. So now just waiting to get rich and go to a health provider I trust. Meanwhile I must be better about my diet. I'm pretty good but certainly can improve. I belong to the Weston A Price Foundation and recommend everyone join their chat group "native nutrition" through .It's all about money. Always has been and always will be. I cannot eat the foods I really need because of it so eat what I can and excercise. Guest guest
No I was at work. But I will carry it with me when I begin again. Thanks,ELizabeth RE: Major anxiety Lori,Did you salt load when the anxiety hit? That is your help to clear out the toxins so the reactions go away. It is very important to do that if you need to.Donna in ILHi Anne,I was taking all my companion nutrients and at higher dosages of iodine and I was experiencing the same thing mentioned. I felt really awful from anxiety about a half hour to hour after taking iodine. Even my husband noticed such a difference. My body reacts to medications the same way. I could never take cold medications for that reason. Could it just affect me differently? I know each individual has a different make up and it could be that some are more sensitive possibly such as myself. I will just start out again at a lower dosage and see how I feel.Lori-----Original Message-----From: Anne Seals [mailto:anneseals@...]Sent: Tuesday, March 15, 2011 1:59 PMiodine Subject: Re: Major anxietyWhen iodine gives you intense symptoms, it is because you are not taking the companion nutrients. Guest guest
,Even without testing you can work on healing your adrenals. I believe that it is who has addressed this repeatedly, with the following being very important: 1 TBSP of celtic sea salt a day – yes, tablespoon, not teaspoon3000 – 5000 mg vit CLots of magnesium, can’t remember the amount. Donna in IL Hi Lori,It's good to know I'm not alone. I think my adrenals are stressed also. I can't afford tests though but when I can I plan to balance all my hormones with someone I trust. There' no point in trying much if the underlying problem isn't fixed or else it's just bandaids. I live in California so after awhileI will begin painting a tiny bit on my skin each day and then the day before fallout comes, take the large dose of SSKI.Thanks for your concern. RE: Major anxiety Hi ,I also had awful anxiety (it would actually start about a half hour to hourafter taking iodine each day) and I think it has to do with the adrenals.I'm not certain though. My saliva tests came back fine except that I amvery, very low in progesterone. I had to stop taking it for awhile becauseI was so anxious and also could not sleep at night. My heart would race andI had trouble breathing. I am going to try again, but at a very small dosage. My iodine tests alsocame back high (ND did some tests) and it might be that I don't requirequite as much as I was taking. I know my body does also react to medicationsin a strange way. Everything just does affect me more. I could never eventake cold medication because it did the same thing to me.Where do you live? I know you said you were concerned about the radiationwhere you are at. This is just such a sad situation for Japan. It's just soawful.Hope you are feeling better!Lori-----Original Message-----From: Parashis [mailto:artpages@...] Sent: Tuesday, March 15, 2011 9:43 AMiodine Subject: Major anxietyHi all,I saw this on a thread but didn't follow because I haven't taken iodine forawhile and didn't feel the effects but now remember why I stopped. Guest guest
Try reading and learning about adrenals on the or Dr. 's book on Adrenal Fatigue. There are supplements/vitamins that boost your adrenals even if you can't test right now: Pantothenic acid, B-6 (I just add 50 -100 B-complex), the magnesium, the Vit. C, celtic sea salt, etc. On 3/16/2011 6:07 AM, Parashis wrote: Hi Lori, It's good to know I'm not alone. I think my adrenals are stressed also.
