Yes, the non-flushing version is actually recommended. Niacinamide has analog chemical name, and that chemical name is usually in parentheses beside the recommendation for that particular B vitamin. :)Jess KOn Mar 11, 2011, at 5:25 PM, "Corry B" <corryb@...> wrote:

HI everyone,

I was just wondering how many of you in this group take vitamin B2 and B3 for iodine organification problems as Dr. Brownstein explains in his book.

I wanted to try B vitamins to see if I get more effect with the iodine, but he recommends 500 mg of niacin(B3) which would cause major flushing. I flush with 1/3 of that dose. Can the non-flush niacinamide be taken? otherwise I'm not sure how anyone could take that much of straight B3.

Thanks.

Corry
