HI Everyone,

I was just curious if temperatures effect Lugols potency. I moved and left a

bottle in my car overnight and it was freezing cold. It doesn't seem to be as

potent now, so just curious if extreme temperatures change the solution in some

way? thanks!

It might, it's advised to store at room temperature. Pharmacy info warns to keep it away from heat.LinnOn Mar 14, 2011, at 3:01 PM, Corry B wrote:

I stored mine in the fridge and I don't think it changed it. Are you not supposed to?

Lugol's should be stored at room temperature and away from light. If I remember correctly, room temperature is advised with a range of 60-85 degrees F. A refrigerator is more in the range of 35-45 degrees F. LinnOn Mar 14, 2011, at 10:15 PM, Financial Alternatives wrote:

Fridge would also have a light every time you open the door. I keep it in cupboard that I don't use much so it stays dark. PamOn Mon, Mar 14, 2011 at 8:27 PM, Linn <linnmiller@...> wrote:
