Guest guest
I can't believe what I've been reading in the last hour :-( I started Dr. Fuhrman's 6 week challenge to better health about 1 week ago. Prior to that I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (about 5 weeks ago). This has caused me to make DRASTIC changes in what I eat. I have hypothyroid disease diagnosed in 2000. Hashimoto's diagnosed in 2007. I have the symptoms of bromide poisoning... and the source has been my fast food addiction for over 20 years :-( So the iodine I was on...was beginning to push out the bromide...I read that bromide is a powerful depressant on the heart! So what do I do now? Do I need hemodialysis? I'm sure the way I am eating now is EXCELLENT... mostly a raw vegan lifestyle...vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds Do I need to get a bromide test Thursday when I see my primary care physician? Thanks...glad I decided to READ and post here ;-) Amy
Guest guest
Amy, I'm really glad we've been able to open up this problem for you. Because iodine is still demonized in med schools, even otherwise-good doctors are still teaching false ideas about iodine. Those of us who have been able to stumble upon the truth about iodine are health advantaged, but most of us are on our own. Even a lot of doctors who say they are iodine positive are still inappropriately cautious and still believe the Wolffe-Chaikoff Effect is real (it is not), and still think that they have to protect their patients from too much iodine, when in fact as you've learned, any excess iodine is poured out of the body through urination. The body uses much more iodine on a daily basis than med schools are acknowledging, and they have yet to acknowledge the anti-iodine actions of the toxic chemical bath we are living in. There are many reasons why the medical industrial complex is unwilling to admit the extreme health debilitation that the chemical bath is creating, so again, we're on our own to address it. And those of us who do embrace this knowledge and act on it are highly health advantaged. -- At 09:03 AM 12/12/2010, you wrote: >I can't believe what I've been reading in the last hour :-( >I started Dr. > >I have the symptoms of bromide poisoning... >and the source has been my fast food addiction for over 20 years :-( > >So the iodine I was on...was beginning to push out the bromide...I read >that bromide is a powerful depressant on the heart! > >So what do I do now?
