Guest guest Posted April 8, 2010 Report Share Posted April 8, 2010 Someone from the NDT group suggested I ask : I am having TT in one week and would like to find an Endo who is knowledgeable in Thyroid Cancer with loss of thyroid. I live in the Inland Empire but would not mind driving to OC since my surgeon is in Orange Ca (UCI med cntr) Speaking of surgeon, mine does not want to prescribe Naturethroid since I will be having RAI in a few months and he said it will be harder to go hypo unless I am on synthetic T3. Has anyone had RAI while weaning off of a natural thyroid? (Armour or other brand) Please do not try to talk me out of surgery as this has been a difficult decision for me to make.
