Guest guest
I take 50 mg of Iodoral plus the supplements recommended. I've been on 90 mg Armour for about 8 months. My recent tests show a "virtually zero" TSH, while the T3 and T4 seem to be midrange. There has been a lot of discussion about Iodine raising TSH, but has anyone else had a zero TSH? --------------- My TSH has been totally suppressed on both Levoxyl/Cytomel combo and on old Armour/Naturethroid now. My labs read either unreadable or about 0.0006 or some such thing. My TSH did NOT raise during the six months I was on 50mg Iodoral nor with my using Lugol's transdermally on my breasts. After 9 months on 50mg, I reduced to 25mg. I have Hashimoto's and Fibromyalgia. I think that the TSH rising may depend upon how long you've been on thyroid replacement, what type of replacement, AND whether your thyroid is actually "dead" or not. My story started over 15 years ago, I'm pretty sure my thyroid is no longer reactive. I take five grains of NDT. Fibrojay
