CANNOT FIND POTASSIUM IODIDE

Dear group,

I live in Las Vegas and cannot find potassium iodide anywhere. I've been told (in local drug stores by pharmacists) various reasons such as

1) A prescription is needed for it.

2) They don't carry it anymore because it is used in making "meth".

Anyway, I do have a bottle of "povidone iodine" and also a bottle of "magnascent iodine".

Can any of these be substituted and if so, what would be the proper dosage/delivery? (Transdermally)?
