Guest guest
Hi Steph, I'm curious what your personal theories are for your high levels of bromide after all your due diligence to detox. Do you think it's all old bromide that's taking a long time to get rid of? Is it a constant revolving door with new sources of exposure being unavoidable? I *loved* mountain dew when I was a kid. I wonder if I'm still lugging around bromide from decades ago. Also I shudder to think what lingering results I face from chemo/surgery/radiation/tamoxifen for breast cancer treatments that started this month 5 years ago. I don't know if any of my cancer treatments increased my exposure to bromide or not. Then there's the household items you've mentioned many times -- new vehicles, carpet, electronics, fire retardents on fabrics and linens etc. Are you aware of bromide exposure becoming negligible with age from these sorts of things? I'm also curious how much iodine you're taking these days. I know you were taking 125 mg a day for a while and backed off to a lower dose with plans to resume the 125 at some point. Sorry to ask so many questions on such an active day in the group. I just ordered my 2nd iodine loading test and my 1st bromide test and I'm already feeling curious about what my results will be.
