Guest guest
Hi, I have tried DIM and I take it with Indolplex. The only thing that seems to work for fibroaids are the daily Castor Bean oil packs and to take about 10 to 20 grams of fiber ( psyllium husks--yech!). My belly seems to shrink after this. It is still in the speculative stage, and my belly could be shrinking to to high quality nutritional meal replacement. What are your thoughts on this From: Jag Jag <jaguarundi21>Subject: Nutrition and thyroid/ iodine supplementation"Iodine Group" <iodinegroups (DOT) com>Date: Friday, 29 January, 2010, 19:54 Hi guys,It is amazing that good nutrition will help to rectify many a problem.I think part of my problem regarding my thyroid issues is a lack of good nutrition. I found that my uterine fibroids probably pushed up against my stomach decreasing my appetite, yet still bloating my stomach. I also think there is a connection between the uterine fibroids and my thyroid. It is a "chicken and egg" type problem--I don't know what the origin is.Anyway, I have found that drinking a vegetarian based protein shake that I got at Whole Foods,( for dieting and meal replacement) has helped my goiter to shrink. I think that since the nutritional shake supplement provides me with the vitamins, minerals protein, omega EFAs and probiotic needed for optimal nutritional health, this good nutrition, c helps the iodine protocol supplementation work more effectively.I decided to take the nutritional supplement because I don't always feel like eating, but need nutrition, So, I figured that a nutritional shake would help and I belive it has. I have found out that we need about 60 grams of protein per day! Each shake = 26g of protein so I need to take it at least 3 times per day or a health bar with low sugar and higher protein. Or, a few large table spoons of almond butter or peanut butter also helps. Hemp seeds are also good, I have been told. I think that we, on this list, should ensure that we are getting a complete chain of protein and other essential nutrients. It will help to enhance our iodine supplementation to get our bodies back in balance and back on track!Jag
Guest guest
My wife went completely macrobiotic for 6 months and got rid of hospital acquired candida through antibiotics. In addition the uterine fibroids vanished? The doctors were really suprised. Organic vegetables organic grains beans etc. Diet can work wonders. However I like the guidance which tests provide as well. Guest guest
One hundred-eight women with fibrocystic breast disease were treated with a preparation containing molecular (diatomic elemental) iodine at a dose of 0.08 mg per kg of body weight per day orally for nine months. Ninety-eight percent of the women were pain-free by the end of the study and objective improvement was seen in 71.8% of cases. Sixty-five percent of the women had a reduction in breast size coincident with clinical improvement. In a larger series of women (n = 1,365) treated with molecular iodine, side effects (usually minor) occurred in 10.9% of cases; these included acne, nausea, diarrhea, hair thinning, hyperthyroidism (0.1% incidence), hypothyroidism (0.3% incidence), skin rash, headache, or transient increase in breast pain (5.7% incidence). http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0ISW/is_256/ai_n6258834/ Bruce ----- Original Message ----- From: ido zahavi i think that iodine helps more with cysts

Guest guest
Iodine helps with everything. Iodine is the whole body approach to health. It's especially good against fibroids. Virus, fungus, toxins. The reason a person has fibroids, disease is because their bodies are not iodine sufficient. Cheryl

Guest guest
Iodine deficiency can manifest itself by creating fibrous lumps, nodules, cysts and scars. Fibrocystic disease is a catch all term for all of the above and relates to the above as benign in nature. So iodine sufficiency is important for fibroids, fcb, thyroid as well as whole body > > Iodine helps with everything. > > Iodine is the whole body approach to health. > > It's especially good against fibroids.
