Guest guest
From Iodol's website: http://www.tpcsdirect.com/iodinestory.html C Thie, Sr., D.C., M.D., N.D., had pointed out that the use of iodized salt has limitations. He believed that we are given false assurance that adequate iodine is supplied. He also noted that iodides are not well tolerated by everyone. By using too much potassium or sodium iodide, it is possible to produce toxic reactions such as heart palpitations, skin rashes and stomach disturbance. And excess potassium or sodium iodide can even depress the thyroid, as well as upset the body's electrical balance. I know Brownstein prefers Iodoral & Lugols, but he doesn't knock Iodol in this book. My sister takes Detoxified Iodine which really increases the doses over time:http://www.globallight.net/Detoxified-Iodine-Br-1-2-Oz-699.htmlPersonally, I'm on the fence to all of them. I just quit Iodol for a few days, and I feel a whole lot better with more energy. But I also took an iron pill. Would it make that much difference?
