Hello Everyone, I’m Virginia (nickname is ). (on this list) recently piqued my interest in iodine when she mentioned that it helps fibrocystic breasts. As far as I can remember, all of my sisters (five of us) have always had pretty lumpy breasts. My eldest sister was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at age 31 and deceased by 38. I recently found a lump just on the outside of my breast. I had it removed; it was only a lipoma, thank GOD! Anyway, so I did the iodine patch test and it lasted about 6ish hours. I went to the nearby healthfood store asking for iodine…they gave me kelp pills. I was taking the kelp pills and patching myself seeing if the patch would last longer as I upped the dose, and sure enough it did last longer. At night I was also applying clear iodine to a particularly dense area of my breast that never has changed during any time of the month. I have been amazed to see that this area feels about 90% different.Last night I applied the orange iodine to this same area, I was a little surprised to see it had completely disappeared by this morning.Anyway, my concern with the kelp is that I have been wondering if I’m getting too much iron. Each pill has 390mcg of iron. The most pills I have taken in a day are four. Any thoughts on this? I will definitely be looking into the iodoral in the near future as well, but for now, I’d like some feedback on what I have been doing. I’m still quite the rookie and looking forward to learning much more! J Thanks so much & Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Castro
