He had an appendix burst and that was removed just a few day before Thanksgiving- a couple days ago they brought him into the office and told him they found a polyp that is cancerous and will be doing a scope on the 20th and will probably shortly after be taking a third of the colon out. They are willing to try " other things " but this whole alternative realm is new to them. Yesterday he took 100 of iodine and salt/ vit C ect with no apparent side effects. I have read about Naltrexone but do not know if this is prescription only and of course Vit C. - how much should he take.

This is breaking my heart and I am praying the Lord to help and asking what you guys think and especially and anyone who has dealt with success in this area. They have told them they think it is caught early. We thank God for his appendix bursting otherwise we would be in the dark. He is one of the sweetest/ godliest men I have known and this is a hard blow but we have faith in the good things God has made and his grace is sufficient.

Many people have been cured of all types of cancer through the Gerson program, something I know alot about and wholeheartedly believe in. Even folks who have been in "final stage" cancer and can somehow manage to get to this institute (with a friend/spouse/caregiver). Or, someone can learn the program and come back and do this daily for your friend...look into it here at

You are looking at some good choices but most likely not any type of cure in

and of themselves. I would highly suggest that they join the anna

Budwig Protocol group - FlaxSeedOil2/

He needs some " proven " methods and the Budwig Protocol, if followed

correctly and militantly, has a good success record. I am a stage III colon

cancer survivor of ten years using natural medicine (other than surgery for

tumor removal and one month of hellacious chemo). I did not use the Budwig

Protocol but did similar things. I would also suggest researching Rose

Laurel which is oleander.

It is a good thing if they have caught it early. His chances when using

alternative medicine are excellent. But most importantly, if they choose

not to do conventional treatment, the very real concerns of future medical

concerns from the use of toxic meds will not be a worry.

Be Well

Dr. Loretta Lanphier who posts here off and on has survived colon cancer and did it I believe on her own naturally. Here is her website http://www.oasisadvancedwellness.com/about/ and here is her story to healing http://ahha.org/articles.asp?Id=96

Hope that helps. I am sure she can offer some advice that we cannot.

First and foremost, no one should even consider traditional radiation, chemo, or

surgery. Doing so reduces their chances of surviving for five years by 50%, at

least. Taking pulsed Lugol's (or Iodoral) in amounts of 250 mg every second day

is the recommendation for cancer. Diet is ultra important. No more bread or beer

(contains yeast), no processed meat, but lots of raw vegetables and fruits are

the minimum. Highly acidic foods such as coffee and especially soda pop should

be avoided altogether. Emphasis on high alkaline foods such as melons, parsley,

lemons, limes, cayenne pepper is recommended (pH >12). Although lemons are

acidic, they have an alkalizing effect on the body. Also very antifungal is

apple cider (not white) vinegar. Taking drops of food grade hydrogen peroxide is

also advisable (between meals only). For more information, see

I totally concur with both of these suggestions. The Gerson Therapy is top notch and Doug Kaufmann throws light on the relation between fungus and cancer.(and both realized the importance of iodine!) Kathleen

Look into 'The Gerson Therapy'. You should be able to find it in the library.

It includes using whole real food to heal, iodine, thyroid meds, potassium, and coffee enemas. He has cured a number of terminal patients.

Pat,

You might find this of interest. Dr. Lanphier recently discussed " Iodine and

Cancer " on a chat group, and more recently It was published on the

" Cancerfighter's Weblog. "

I, personally, would take bloodroot. CureZone has a Black Salve forum where

they talk a lot about ingesting plain bloodroot. One can buy it at Mountain

Rose Herbals. Of course, I would still take iodine and maybe do a juice diet

for cleansing among other things. Drink only filtered water.
