Test Results -- STEPH??

Hello Steph and anyone else who can help me,

Can someone help me understand my test results?  My doctor does not seem to be very knowledgable or experienced about this, so I could use some help from someone who is.

I had thought my fluoride would be high (based upon known exposures), but to my surprise it was in the normal range.  However, my bromide appears to be through the roof!  It was 156.09 mg/24hr.  Also, with my bromide so high I would have expected my iodine saturation to be lower than 74% ??

The 50 mg. loading dose way WAY more than I could handle.  My detox was unbearable, especially the mental/emotional symptoms, as I am used to being a very steady and emotionally stable person and was not prepared to handle the emotional havoc that the toxins wrecked on me.  So when I start taking iodine to detox, I will probably have to start with a 6.25 mg. dose and work up from there.  I cannot start the iodine supplementation for at least another week because I have to stay off of all supplements for a couple other tests that my doctor has ordered for me.  Also, it is possible that she may want to correct a couple other issues that I have before beginning a detox (to make sure that my immune system and liver detoxification system are strong enough to handle the detox).

Here are my results....

Total Urine Volume 4,300 mL/24hr

IODIDE (SPOT)  0.130 mg/L (Low), Reference Range > 0.149

I & I Loading  37 mg/24hr (Low), Reference Range > 44

I & I Saturation  74% Total (Low), Reference Range > 90

FLUORIDE CONCENT  0.435 mg/24hr (No Reference Range Given)

Fluoride (spot)  0.67 mg/L, Reference Range 0.2 - 3.2

Fluoride Provocation 1.871 mg/24hr, Reference Range 1.54 - 2.06

Bromide (spot)  27.3 mg/L (High), Reference Range < 12
