Guest guest
I had my Thyroid removed in 2007 followed by RAI(Radioactive iodine). I have recent reoccurance and have therefore decided that I should have my Silver Amalgams removed...also know as Mercury fillings. I have also decided to take many supplements and now eat mostly organic food. The doctors want to do surgery to remove the reocurance but I am not interesed in that at the moment as I do believe our bodies can heal themselves, given the right support. How much Iodine should I be taking, seeing as I do not have a Thyroid, and where would be the best place to purchase. Is Lugals what I should be looking for? I live in the Toronto, On. Canada. Guest guest
Sorry to hear that ! I have been in your position 3 times. I did RAI 3 times and it failed each time. It wasn't until I ran from my endo and his desire to give me external beam radiation that I got well. It took me 4 years to get rid of the thyroid cancer but my markers steadily came down on my journey. You can read my whole story on my blog listed on my website at www.naturalthyroidchoices.com What I did once I decided to not do the ext beam is to go to Dr. Brownstein. 1. He tested my hormone levels - they were out of balance so I was placed on BHrt 2. He switched me from Synthroid to Armour Thyroid. 3. My adrenals were taxed - placed me on Cytozyme AD plus Rhodiola, Vit C and Unrefined Salt 4. Started on 50 mgs of Iodoral but increased rapidly to 100 mgs by 9 mos time. Had horrible detoxing at 100 mgs so I had to pulse dose and support my liver. 5. Four months after starting with him (Feb 06) I went to a holistic dentist who was trained in removal of amalgam fillings - I had 11 of them and a root canal tooth. They were all removed over 4 weeks and the root canal tooth pulled. I did chelation for 1 year after that. I already ate organic and gluten free (which is important too). I concentrated on keeping my liver clean with Metagenics Ultra Clear Plus pH. Now I take the product my doctor formulated called TLC. www.purezenhealth.com I hope this helps.
