My biggest concern about salt is whether it's been tested for fluoride content. As it turns out Himalayan Salt, which is touted as being so healthy, has turned out to often have high levels of fluoride. Is anyone aware of a source of this salt that has actually undergone testing for mineral content? > > Golda Starr > www.FluorideDetective.com
Guest guest
I remember reading in the book Fluoride, The Aging Factor, the author talks about a village in Russia where the water is naturally high in fluoride (not added by man) and the people who live there age very rapidly and have very poor health. So, I am not so sure that naturally occurring fluoride is less harmful than the waste by product fluoride. Guest guest
All this proves, is you can get too much of anything. Our bodies do require fluoride, but in moderation, and of course, would vary with each individual. Anything can be harmful, when getting too much and the body has no way to dispose of it. Guest guest
The main difference is that the waste-product fluoride added to drinking water also has other toxic metals like cadmium, etc Re: I can'tsleep Isn't there a difference between naturally occurring fluoride and toxic waste by-product fluoride? http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1111716#i http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1099033#i http://www.natural-health-information-centre.com/fluoride.html Analysis of various "sea" salts:Himalayan: http://www.biodistributors.com.au/ProdInfFiles/hcs.phpCeltic: http://curezone.com/foods/salt/Celtic_Sea_Salt_Analysis.aspReal Salt: http://curezone.com/upload/pdf/realsalt_analysis.pdfPamela--- In iodine , "gsconnelly" <goldastarr@...> wrote:>> Thank you Pam.
