Hello and thanks for the info Jim. That's what I meant - we used to eat locally but not anymore. Guess that area (which is large) got it's Goiter Belt name and that's how we'll refer to it forever. And the area is still depleted of iodine. I didn't know that was the reason the TSH test got started.
