Guest guest
Hi Everybody, Just wanted some advice in regard to my FNA results I recently received. It seems that I have certain aspects which evoke microvesicular adenoma. They have given me too proposals. Wait and see and go back for another scan/FNA in April/May or go for a thyroidectomy. I was a bit shocked that they could come up with the second option soo quickly. Needless to say, I will be taking the first option. Has anybody here had experience with microvesicular adenoma. Does it mean that I will eventually have thyroid cancer or are we talking irregular cells that could become healthy again. I have been on the iodine protocol now for nearly a year and have been taking 50mg Iodoral. I have added an extra 12.5mg this winter as the cold has had a great effect on my thyroid. I do not take thyroid meds but am thinking that I should especially in winter. I am also thinking about painting my thyroid Do I reduce the amount of iodoral whilst painting? Does anybody know approximately how much iodine can be absorbed by the skin?
