want to start iodoral

I have mostly been on thyroidless and have come a long way since last February

but know I have that far to go again and want to start iodoral that I recently

bought after it has been suggested a number of times by Gracia Bee on

thyroidless group.

I'm 46,thyroidless papillary cancer in 1994 spread to 5 lymph removed also. Last

5 years of my life were hell from the effects of synthetic thyroid hormone.

Started NTH in February this year and then hydrocortisone soon after but had to

address 2 infected teeth which were removed in Sept. I'm starting to feel

better but still can't get HC lowered below 40. I work full time and am not a

rester, when I feel better I get doing things, not sure if that is hurting me

but I feel for once like I have a quality of life back.

I have been on whole foods as much organic as possible 95% gluten, sugar, dairy

and yeast free for the last 4 years while I was trying to figure out what was

wrong and saw a slew of naturopaths who never mentioned synthetic thyroid

hormone.

My supp's are

1/2 tsp sea salt am and pm

400-500mg magnesium citrate

zinc, selenium (not too much selenium as I had gone too high on my NTH and had

to reduce due to racing heart and palps)

4000 mg vit c

two tabs? calcium citrate

milk thistle on and off (I know my liver is compromised from my face

skin tone in the am on days I ate incorrectly the day before and I have never

been a drinker)

Vit D3 5-10,000 per day

blue bonnet chelated iron 3 tabs every other day as I get constipated from it

(ferritin was 67)

I don't have doc's appt until Dec and he does not believe in ferritin, body

temps, sodium pottasium levels and relationship to thyroid but he gives me

prescrips freely so far so I'm pretty much self treating.

So do I need to do the load test or can I get started and how much? I wonder if

you can go slow as I don't want to stress my adrenals with too much detoxing if

that makes sense.

Thanks for all your wonderful input.
