whta about diet.

My wife cleared all fibroids in six months. first she was diagnosed following a scan then

they wanted to operate, to do a biopsy. She said no. She decided to go really seriously

into diets and supplements. Cut out all the crap. and when they did the scan after 6

months no sign of fibroids. Funny they didn't ask how that came about. She mentioned

her change in diet and supplements but thats like talking to the dead. They don't want to hear that. Where is the money in that?

,

You are SO right on. Money encourages great cognitive disonance. It is tragic and extremely infuriating.

what about diet. I had a very good diet and still had fibroids. I

would always use iodine as well as a good diet.

It is probably important to take adrenal supplements and progesterone cream. I am doing this as well as taking a Chinese herbal blend called Kuei Chi Fu Ling

>> Could anyone please share their iodine and supplement protocol for fibroids, anemia, low hb, low ferritin, excessive menstrual bleeding, candida overgrowth and hypothyroidism?++++++++ Hi and I am too new here to speak about diets/ iodine but I too had fibroids a few years back. I had the Fibroid Uterine Embolization which was an easy fix for me. The incision is less than an inch and back to work in a week. Two years later I had new fibroids and had the same procedure done again. Orig OB-Gyn lied to me--said the procedure was experimental, people were dying from it, ins. would not cover it. I discovered his lies when he mailed me a Certified Letter which said that very procedure was an option he had given me. I did not know about iodine and diet then. I hope you can fix this the natural way.-ValM

I am dealing with uterine fibroids. I use the Iodine protocol., I am still on 50 mgs. as taking higher doses for me causes weight gain. I take 2 iron supplements, one is called Ferritin and the other is iron that is easily absorbed. I takr vitamin b-6 and B-12. It is important to take a lot of iron and the iron support b-vitamins. I beleive my periods have improved due to the proper amounts of iron.

I have started taking progesteron cream on my abdomen and I think this is helping in subtle ways. I have a better appetite and don't have as much trouble diegesting my food.

I also think it is important to take Tyrosine and adrenal support, such as a product called Adreno Plus and/or Raw Adrenal glandualr by Natural sources or another good brand.

I have started taking a Chinese herb called kuei Chi Fu Ling ( this is an old spelling). It also goes by Gui Zhin Fu Ling or in Japanese, Keishi Bukuryo Gan. I think it has been helping with the thyroid as well.

Fibroids are complicated and at this point, there is not enough research that has gone into getting rid of them.

Dear fibroids/iodine support people!! I am completely blown away by your

support. Just starting to wade through all the emails. Thank-you so much

everyone. Ill-health can sometimes be a lonely journey. This fills me with good

vibes, a vital part of our return to strength and vitality!

I've heard that even some of the original proponents of progesterone

cream (like Dr. Lee) now say they caution a self-help approach with

progesterone cream, despite the fact that it has done amazing things for

many many women. The issue is the need for ongoing testing, to keep

things in balance. Too much of the cream can cause problems of its

own, including problems with fibroids - as can too little progesterone

in a woman's body. Trouble is traditional docs don't understand these

requirements, nor the appropriate levels that should be maintained, nor

the difference between formulas that are bioidentical and the other

stuff. So there is a tricky dance. If you are " doing it yourself "

you probably ought to do a lot of research with the folks who write

about this online, and order regular tests, which aren't cheap, but are

available various places online - to make sure you're keeping things

within safe limits. Sara

I wonder what you include in a "good diet".
