  • 3 weeks later...

When I first took iodine (Iodoral tabs) I had severe detox too. I had gray

stains under my breasts, my breath stunk, had a headache & I was exhausted. Had

just taken 1 12.5mg tab. But I had SOOOOO much junk in the trunk and it all

tried to come out at once. So I talked to my integrative dr & he told me to

start 1/2 tab 1 time per week & build up slowly. I built up to 50mg in about 6

mths & continue that cycle. I took this dose for 1 year and took a 6 mth break.

Now taking 12.5 per day for 6mths & off for 3mths.

If you swim or drink chlorine, eat UN FERMENTED soy, have high mercury, bromide

or lead levels you're going to detox. Go slow. When you experience detox

symptoms, listen to your body & slow down. You'll get there eventually.

FAR infra red saunas, hot baths with Epsom salt (but not in chlorinated water)

will help detox the fat cells through the skin and speed up the process without

detox symptoms.

It has been 5 years since I started & I have no problem taking higher doses if I

feel I need it. I feel much better now too & hope you will soon too.

Jill, This is great advice and thank you so much for updating with the

group. It's so important for people to hear from longtime iodine folks.

Hi ,

We are not dealing with mere chlorine now, but Chloramine (it sounds like

something you would give a person to kill them!). If there is anything that

anyone knows of to take Chloramine out of bath water, sure would appreciate

hearing about it. I'm not exposed to that deadly sounding, toxic brew of

chlorine and ammonia but I have some people I care about. Actually, know of

a lot of people! And what about those poor people locked in 'rest homes'?

They have no choice!

I remember seeing poison fluids (from chemical plants), being rushed by a

battery of ultraviolet lights and they then declared the fluid safe to

drink. I would like to see them drink it first.

If ultraviolet lights are so great, then why not use this to clean our

water?

Just try finding toothpaste without fluoride! I swish hydrogen peroxide

then wet my brush and use baking soda/strontium/Celtic sea salt to put on my

brush. No fluoride for me!

Here is an example of one of the bath ball faucet filters that says it

filters chlorine, chloramines, and chlorine gas. Along with VOCs and more.

This is the one I own.

I don't think these bath balls are the most perfect solution, but they are

much more affordable than a lot of other options, and doing SOMETHING to

reduce your exposures is better than NOTHING.
